Now that all the introductions are out of the way, we are going to settle into this series and start to get some character development and just start to get a good feel for the crew. First thing you need to know about this one, pertains to the name of the episode and the two big Guest Stars that play a significant role in the story. At this point, I donít think you can release anything Star Wars related to the screen, without these two showing up somehow. Yup, you guessed it. R2-D2 and C-3PO.... (continued)

I love that they gave RK-24 a cameo... for those unsure of who he is, he is the pilot droid on the Star Tours ride at Disneyland...

I have some problems with this episodes.

1) C3P0 & R2 are in the episode, and at the end, it is implied that C3P0 knew about the mission (he knew not to say Organa's name), and yet he called in the Imperials. Didn't make much sense.

2) Sabine claims to be an Imperial Cadet, and the woman buys it, yet she's wearing all but the helmet from Madalorian armor. How was that not noticed?

This is technically considered episode three of Season One (Spark of Rebellion is considered a double episode and gets the honor of being the first two episodes), but this is truly the first standard episode of Rebels. And boy, it doesn't disappoint. Spark of Rebellion did a good job of showcasing each character's strengths and motivations (although Sabine is still a mystery to me), but this episode doesn't do that. I think these standard 22-minute episodes will sprinkle in tidbits about the Spectres, which is something I am on board for. This episode gives us a little more insight on Zeb and his people. Sure we get a little of Ezra's longing to start his Jedi training and we get the rad appearances of our favorite droid duo, but my main takeaway is Zeb's heartache and yearn for revenge about the near extinction of his people. I can't wait to see how this show dishes out the other characters' motivations for being rebellious towards the Empire.
