This story arc would have been so good if they could have finished it. It has some of the best Anakin and Obi-Wan interactions of the entire series. It's a real shame they couldn't have completed season 6.

Because this is another action-heavy episode, this has potential to be great if fully animated. The kyber crystal causes many explosions and it takes some imagination to picture what this could be in a finalized production. The dog fight and battles on the ship are standard fare at this point, but they are still fun to watch (when animated).

I agree with aliensummer in that Anakin and Obi-Wan's back-and-forth banter is top notch here. Obi-Wan's cavalier comment and Anakin ripping Obi-Wan for being old is good stuff. Rarely is the dialogue between the two this entertaining.

The mission debrief at the episode's conclusion is particularly chilling. Yoda mentions that the large crystal is most likely for the Sith to create a super-weapon (by way of saying that's what Sith used to do years ago). This is clearly a reference to the Death Star at we see in the original film. I love these connections.

Overall, I still appreciate that these story reels were released to the public. I don't think this arc would have stood out as most of it has to do with action sequences. The arc wouldn't be terrible by any means, but I these reels are for the hardcore fans only. This is completely skip-able.

Grievous' power varies way too much. He defeats Obi-Wan almost instantly in this episode, but Obi-Wan is the victor such a short time later in Revenge of the Sith.

Why do the battle droids keep Obi-Wan's lightsaber? Doesn't Grievous want such a fine addition to his collection?

I agree about the ending. Yoda's speech was the best part of the episode. It's so great to see the world building in this way.

"In legends, we often find great truths" has become especially prophetic, given that legends is the title for the old Extended Universe.

Most of the episode was distinctly lacking in quality due to the lack of final animation. It's a shame an action heavy arc was one of the ones half done.
