They didn't strap the crystal down?

Is this the same crystal that ends up in the Death Star?

This episode is very action-oriented. This doesn't bode well for an unfinished episode with rudimentary animation. At least in the prior two story reels, there was some intrigue and dialogue to chew on, but this was the obligatory light saber- and blaster-filled romp that seems to come up in these four-part arcs. The plot can be summarized as follows: Anakin and Obi-Wan transport a large kyber crystal across the plains of Utapau. Grievous gets a hold of it at the end. The end.

There are still some good things here. I like when Obi-Wan's Jedi mind trick actually works on the Amani. It seems like Jedi mind tricks always get presented just so it doesn't work, so I like seeing it succeed. I also like Grievous slaying Endente and Governor Blom in pretty savage manners. Two things that didn't work for me is the new creature that was like the Jar Jar of beasts and that there is no music in the credits. I know these are just story reels, but it's not much effort to just stick on the normal credit music.

This one might be a '3' if it was fully animated.

2/5

This episode makes me wonder how done the script was. There were several points where it seemed like awkward lines that wouldn't have made it into the final production, and there were a few times where it was silent where there should have been lines. One example is when they made the the crystal float, that seemed like the golden opportunity for a joke.
