They keep following up breathtaking story arcs with completely bland and average.

I finished it today and . . . it gets a tiny bit better. But it's definitely one of the "don slope" arcs, especially after that amazing Yoda arc that finished just before it. We get 1 great arc, and we get 1 mediocre/bad arc, back and forth.

well keep in mind you are at the end of the show... these are the unfinished episodes... If you were an average fan, the Yoda arc would have been the end and you would have left on a high note...

It was really cool for the Clone Wars team to release this. Even though their show was cancelled, they still had at least two arcs (this and "Bad Batch") in progress. The audio part of the episode seems complete so this was very much intended to be released in Season Six. It's a shame they weren't allowed to finish out the series. It's not like Filoni & Co. was going to keep going forever with this. Anakin's look and attitude are very much Episode III at this point (his "strong-arming") so this is very close to the end in any case.

The story itself is rather bland. Separatists are dealing with some primitive beings on Utapau, the planet Obi-Wan is on when Order 66 is enacted in Episode III. We are introduced to a Jedi, whose corpse is what brings Anakin and Obi-Wan to the planet. She is considered a Jedi who does things off the books, but when I looked up her appearances, she doesn't do anything else in the Canon.

These unfinished episodes seem to be for die hard fans only. Even with an amazing story, the rudimentary animation is enough to turn people away. I view these as a courtesy to the fans who want more and understand that Filoni & Co. had to abandon ship to start working on Rebels.

3/5

The graphics in this episode are really bad. I think the series is going downhill. In all actuality, seeing the graphics was really cool. It gives an insight into the episode development process.

Can the force sense neurological activity in dead people? That's really dumb and there's no reason to put it in. Their next progress was investigating the place of death.

I don't understand why it was so imperative that the Jedi be killed without outside indications of a cause? It didn't stop the investigation.

The fact that with only red eyes to go on, their first guess was right is total bullshit.

Setting up the mistrust of the Jedi that we see later in RotS is really cool, although it's getting to the point where they're running out of things to set up. This is presumably related to the show's end.

The wildlife on Utapau is really interesting. Boga is amazing, and I want to see the Dactillions fully animated. They seems really similar to Varactyls.

Anakin destroys his Magnaguard way too easily after he decides too. It seems to break canon of Jedi struggling with Magnaguards.
